BACKGROUND

Jay has an expansive music background and performance experiences ranging from classical, jazz and rock bands;  he is also the founder of the Mercenary House Band. and a member of the Weekend Tsunami.  

​

Jay has been a regular at venues around northern Virginia as well having steady Friday night acoustic and classic rock cover band gigs on Oahu, Hawaii.  If you made it to the island you might have caught him playing at Gordon Biersch, Kelly O’Neil’s, in Waikiki, or at O’Tooles’ pub in Honolulu.

Dynamic with good energy describe Jay's performances.  He is currently focused on doing unique cover songs selected from a wide spectrum of genres that spans music from the 60’s to contemporary.  This eclectic mix of material includes adaptations of songs originally written for electric guitar.
